My name is Gary André Bradley and ever since I was a child, I've loved comic books and superheroes. I was fascinated by the characters, their adventures, their motivations, and their colorful costumes! So much so, that since I loved to write and draw, their stories inspired me to begin creating my own comics.
When I first started making my own comics they were for fun, centered around a fictionalized version of myself I ended up naming Power G, and other characters I created. In addition, I would do stories that "guest-starred" some of my favorite comic book and cartoon characters.
As I got older, I realized I wanted to do this as a career, and in 2008, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. I have taken art classes before-- however, I'm mainly self-taught and always trying to improve.
I recently just self-published the first issue of my comic book Power G, which will be about an updated version of him and is the first part of his new origin!
When I was younger, I would make my comics with just about anything I could get my hands on. I've used number 2 pencils, mechanical pencils, ballpoint pens, felt tip pens, copy paper, notebook paper, typing paper - you name it.

What I used for the debut issue of Power G was my Huion H610PRO pen tablet and the software Manga Studio Debut 4, then later Clip Studio Paint.
It took me a minute to get comfortable working with a drawing tablet (I'm used to looking directly at what I'm drawing), but I eventually got the hang of it.
First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the gifts of writing and drawing so that I can share my stories with the world.
My main inspiration comes from my family and friends, my pastor, my former teachers and professors, and also my favorite writers, artists, directors, etc. I also get inspiration from friends I've met

I hope to entertain and inspire others with my stories. I want others to experience the same joy I've always felt when getting a new comic book with my favorite characters. It would also be such a blessing if my stories motivated others out there, whether child or adult, to start creating their own stories so that they too can share them with the world!
